Support built by people who are genuinely invested in you
FIShR's coordinators of support (COS) and linked independent support workers (ISW) aren't employees on a fixed wage - they're business partners whose success is tied to yours.
Most NDIS providers run like large agencies, with caseloads stacked as high as the business can push them. We built FIShR based on relationships, not numbers.
How it’s organised
What we do
We are proud to deliver the following NDIS-registered services, which are carefully designed to support participants to achieve their goals by helping to build skills, confidence and independence including:
-
Having the right home and the right support can make a significant difference to your independence, wellbeing and quality of life. We provide flexible, individualised NDIS home and accommodation supports that are designed around each person’s goals, preferences, routines and support needs.
Our approach recognises that where you live, who you live with and how you are supported at home are important choices. We work with participants, families, support networks and allied health professionals to develop practical support arrangements that promote choice and control, independence, safety, community participation and a meaningful life.

Your Home. Your Choice. Your Support.
Support can be provided in your own home, a shared living environment or other appropriate accommodation, depending on your circumstances, goals and NDIS plan.
We believe good support starts with listening. We work with you to understand what you want from your home, your support and your life — then build a flexible service around those priorities.
-
Everyone has different goals, routines, abilities and support needs. At FIShR, we provide flexible and individualised NDIS personal care and daily living supports designed around you.
Our support can help you manage everyday activities, develop greater independence, access your community, build life skills and maintain your health, wellbeing and relationships.
We don't believe support should be about doing everything for you. Where possible, our approach is focused on building skills, increasing confidence, promoting independence and supporting you to make your own choices.
Whether you need occasional assistance, regular daily support or more complex and high-intensity support, we work with you and your support network to develop a service that reflects your individual needs and NDIS goals.

For participants who experience behaviours of concern or require assistance to develop positive behavioural strategies, FIShR can work alongside NDIS behaviour support practitioners and Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) teams.
Our support workers can implement strategies developed through an individual's Positive Behaviour Support Plan, where applicable, and provide consistent support across the participant's daily environment.
Behaviour support may focus on:
Understanding the reasons behind behaviours of concern
Developing positive routines
Building communication skills
Increasing choice and control
Developing coping and emotional regulation skills
Reducing situations that may contribute to distress
Supporting positive relationships
Increasing community participation
Developing alternative and safer ways to communicate needs
Our approach is person-centred, strengths-based and focused on improving quality of life.
Where restrictive practices are identified, FIShR follows applicable NDIS requirements and works with the relevant behaviour support and clinical professionals to ensure appropriate authorisation, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
