Maybe you already know someone who'd be a great fit. Maybe you want to find the right person yourself, without going through a big agency. Either way, this model puts you and your chosen support worker at the centre - FIShR makes sure everything's set up properly around you.

What this actually means

You and your support worker agree directly on what support looks like, through a service agreement between the two of you. FIShR provides the framework underneath - NDIS registration, compliance, admin, coaching and systems.

Can I choose someone I already know Yes - most participants and families already have a support worker they prefer to work with but struggle with the technical details of compliance and having someone independent to talk through concerns.

What if I don't know a support worker yet We can help you think through it and maybe able to link with you with our existing ISW if you think they might be a good match.

Is my support worker covered properly Yes - FIShR's registration and systems ensure everything remains compliant. Our ISW all have insurances in places, follow agreed policies and procedures and we cover them for workers compensation and make sure superannuation is paid.

What are the costs FIShR's fee stays fixed and transparent. What you pay your support worker is agreed directly between the two of you, through your service agreement - not a rate FIShR sets. See Where Your Funding Goes for a full breakdown of how this compares.
